I am a medically retired U.S. Marine. In 2006 my wife and I bought our house here, and moved in with our 2 daughters. Not long after our young daughter joined the Morongo Valley Youth Sports League. The year after that I joined MVYSL as a board member and coach. My wife and I remained board member until 2013. My wife and I helped put on Morongo Valley Fiesta Days every September from 2009 till 2013 as members of the Fiesta Days committee. I am currently an active member of Morongo Valley Firefighters Auxiliary which I have been a member of since 2009. When not doing activities with the firefighters auxiliary in support of our fire department, I also volunteer as a certified member of the Morongo Basin CERT team. During the summer months I enjoy being an umpire for youth baseball and softball with Little League. I have been a member of the CSD Board of Directors since December 2011.
